Bonnie Bee’s Event Center, formerly known as Bonnie Bee’s Play Hive, was established in 2023 by Ricky and Bonita Barnes. What began as a vision for a children’s event space has now grown into a full-service venue for all types of events.

Created with the idea of providing a safe and welcoming environment, Bonnie Bee’s Event Center is a place where families can bond, celebrate, and connect in meaningful ways. It also serves as a community hub — hosting everything from Girl Scout sleepovers, family dinners, birthday parties and community partnership events, the venue serves as a cornerstone for meaningful moments.

Our vision is deeply rooted in community and family values. We are family operated with the assistance of our children Ricky Barnes Jr, Destinee Barnes and mother Lannie Lewis. We take pride in offering an intimate space that hosts every event with love, care, professionalism and a commitment to making families and communities our top priority with an experience both memorable and meaningful. Every event… big or small… is hosted with love, care, and the personal touch you can only find in a close-knit community space. At Bonnie Bee’s, our heart is community and family.
