Hello Friends! 👋 It’s been A WHILE since we’ve created content for this page, and it’s a shame! Our little space located directly to the west of the Bricker-Price Block building is staying quite busy these days as a host site for our local Boy Scouts and a youth group & a mens group from a local church! We also get requests weekly to open our space for middle schoolers!

The original mission of our Bird’s Nest Teen Center is to provide a unique, safe space for middle schoolers to hang out with friends, work on projects or complete homework.

A few things to note about our Teen Center:
🐦 Our space is equip with a leather sectional, TVs, multiple gaming systems, board games and a foosball table.
🐦 We also have a small kitchenette with a microwave and a stocked vending machine.
🐦 This space was fully renovated in 2016.
🐦 The Teen Center is always locked and under video camera surveillance.
🐦 There are also two private restrooms in the space.

Out of concern for all our guests and community members near and far, we have decided to POSTPONE ALL PROGRAMMING AND EVENTS THROUGH MARCH 31, 2020 at Bricker-Price Block to do our part in the prevention of COVID-19. This includes our Senior Speaker Series, Team Trivia and The Bird's Nest Teen Center events. We will continue to monitor the situation following the lead of the Iowa Department of Public Health, and we will reassess the situation on or before March 31st.
We look forward to providing community-focused programming and local entertainment again soon once it’s safe to do so! Thank you for your continued support!
