12 Step Store

12 Step Store The building in which the 12 Step Store called home, closed its doors. Read more in "About." As a result, we were forced to shut down our operation.

Unfortunately, the location in which 12 Step Store called home, went out of business. Therefore we no longer have a stand alone retail location. However, we may be able to provide you with simple needs such as medallions. Please privet message us for information regarding what we may be able to provide. Thanks to all of you for the support you have given. There is always hope that in the future we

may have an opportunity to serve you again!! The "12 Step Store", was new recovery retail space, located at Merchants' Village Indoor Market. We provided products to those associated with 12 step recovery programs, and family and friends who may know someone traveling along the road of sobriety. We were exclusive in the Pittston Area, as a walk-in recovery gift shop. You would have found a wide variety of Medallions, Sterling Silver Jewelry, Leather Book Covers, Cards, Mugs, Hats, Shirts, Books, License Plate Frames, and so much more. We focus on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction. We will do everything we can to meet your expectations!

“At the top of Harrison Avenue in Carbondale sits a building with a purpose. Here, women get a fresh start. This is a step-down facility from a residential stay where women will be able to reside here, but also get jobs," said Dr. Sara Swepston, CEO of Beyond Addiction. "We help them facilitate interviews. We help them get a driver's license, and everything else to then, um, explore the next option of living independently while sober."

At the top of Harrison Avenue, Beyond Addiction's new facility will offer women in recovery a supportive space to regain independence.

"We are proud to announce the opening of our new Veterans Recovery House in Scranton, Pennsylvania.”

“This home was created with a deep respect for the men and women who have served our country and now deserve a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment to heal, rebuild, and move forward. Our mission is to provide a structured, compassionate space where veterans can find stability, community, and the tools they need to thrive in recovery.”

“We believe those who have sacrificed so much should never have to face the journey of recovery alone. This house represents hope, dignity, brotherhood, and a renewed path forward for veterans in our community.
We are honored to bring this much-needed resource to Scranton and look forward to serving those who have served all of us.”

“Expanding mental health services across Northeast Pennsylvania!”

“With support from the Moses Taylor Foundation, The Wright Center for Community Health has launched an integrated peer support service line that connects mental health care with whole-person primary health services. The grant helped train individuals as peer specialists, expanding the regional workforce and reducing financial barriers to training.

Certified peer specialists use their lived experience to support others on their mental health recovery journey, strengthening care teams and improving access to critical services across our communities.

Tap on the first link below to read more about peer specialists, the training process, and how this program is helping improve mental health services in our region:
