Full Moon Prayer for Release and Peace

Under this full moon's light,
I release what no longer serves me.

I let go of old fears, old grudges, old griefs —
I set them down gently, and I do not pick them back up.

I release the tension I carry in my body,
the worry I carry in my mind,
the weight I carry in my heart.

Moon, mirror of the sun, keeper of the tides —
wash over me now.
Pull the heaviness from me the way you pull the sea.

I forgive myself for what I could not control.
I forgive others who could not meet me where I needed them to.
I release the need to be right, to be perfect, to be everything to everyone.

In this letting go, I make room —
room for peace, room for stillness, room for grace.

May I sleep tonight in quiet.
May I wake tomorrow lighter.
May this cycle close with gentleness,
and the next begin with clarity.
