Hey everyone! The most recent batch of packages is out the door to the post office today. I'm probably going to continue the sale for a little bit longer before I get rid of the remainder of my inventory. If there's something you have your eye on or are considering but need to wait until the end of the month or something, just let me know! I'm happy to hold items if requested. Thanks!

After a lot of thought and procrastination, I have made the decision to sell off the stock I have on hand, as I no longer intend to do in-person shows. Selling at shows is fun and rewarding, but it's also a ton of work and as I work full time it's also a huge investment of time and effort, and I also never get to enjoy the shows I go to. Having time away from selling at shows has helped me realize that the financial benefit of selling at shows isn't quite worth it for me unless it were my full-time job. I considered that for a long time, but I also love my day job and the work I get to do there.

What does this mean for you? I'm going to offer everything I have on hand at a discount for a bit before I sell off everything to other chainmaillers. I took pictures of my stock last night (aside from earrings and pendants that I already had pictures of from last year) and have shared pictures below. I'll get it all put together in an album with pricing but if there's something you're interested in just let me know. I've got duplicates of many pieces that I keep regularly stocked for shows as well.

What does this mean for me? I'm still going to keep all my supplies and will likely do individual pieces, more artistic pieces, and do whatever I want creatively instead of spending a large amount of time replicating the same pieces over and over for shows, which honestly has killed a lot of my creative drive for chainmaille (so much so that I have picked up my pliers maybe once in the last year). I'm not sure yet if I'll close my Etsy store or if I'll just greatly reduce the listings, or if I might just use it for when I have unique pieces to offer. I may also sell off some show-specific supplies as well (charms and things that I mostly used to make pieces for shows), but for now I'm just offering up my already-made inventory.

Please feel free to ask if you have questions. I have enjoyed making chainmaille for over a decade, and I'm not looking to quit something that has brought me such joy, but I think 2020 has made a lot of us face changes and decide to do a little evolving and I am certainly no exception. 💙

You've probably seen my Rainy Day earrings before - cute little silver clouds with Swarovski rain drops. I made some more recently to add to my inventory, but I also made some with a fun twist. Introducing: Purple Rain! The same cute earrings but with amethyst purple drops instead of blue ones :) These earrings are $30 per pair, in traditional or purple.

Here's your follow-up to yesterday's engraved scale earrings - more engraved scale earrings! Amusingly enough I actually have some additional engraved scales I need to make into earrings (they have skulls!), but this is the rest of what I have currently made. Mostly DC (and of course Deadpool snuck in because he don't give a crap about your branding), some gears, some glow in the dark circuit boards, and a Wheel of Time collection. The Wheel of Time is one of my all-time favorite book series. I actually vend at JordanCon every year and it's probably the convention I'm most sad to see canceled. On the upside, I do have a good number of earrings made just for that event available! Green Ajah represent ;)

Let's start Monday off with a bang! Here are just some of the engraved scale earrings I have available! I've grouped things together by fandom - starting with Star Wars, continuing with Star Trek, a little dash of Firefly, and wrapping up with Pokemon Go and Harry Potter! I'll have even more engraved scale earrings posted tomorrow so if you're looking for something specific be sure to keep an eye out! And as always, don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Here are some earrings to match the flower pendants I shared yesterday. These also come in a wide variety of colors that I have available but may or may not have made. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about them! These earrings are $30 per pair.

How about some pendants for today? This is a good selection of pendants I have available - some charms, some D20s, and flower pendants with swarovski crystals. It's hard to capture the true color on the crystals because they're so vibrant, but I'm happy to take some extra pictures of any particular color or give you information on the colors I have available. I have additional colors for the Swarovski centers as well as D20 - these are just what I already had made. Pendants are $15 for charms, $20 for the flowers. If you're looking for some matching flower earrings, I can probably help you out with that and you might even see some listed here tomorrow ;)

Today I have some unique earrings. The silver-toned pair is a beautiful cascade of flowers that I saw and just had to make something out of them. The other three pairs are pieces I picked up a couple of years ago at a local bead show and were handmade by artisans. The oak leaves are teal-enameled copper (the chainmaille portion is a purple that's hard to photograph), the chocolate ice cream cones are a sealed polymer clay, and the other leaves are purple and green enameled copper. These are all new pieces that haven't made it to a show yet! These earrings are all $30 plus shipping/

I do truly love purchasing items from other crafters and turning them into new pieces! I have some other fun pieces hanging around that are just waiting to be turned into something great, like a sterling silver fish-bone piece and a lamp-work beaded skull with a top-hat (that is actually from the same crafter that did the enameled leaves). Do you have some projects on your bench or table that are just waiting to be turned into something fun?

Today is the tea collection! I absolutely adore tea and tea-related things, so naturally I've picked up a lot of tea-related charms over time. I think my favorites are the spoons, if I'm being honest! In addition to teacups with saucers and coffee cups, I have some sugar bowls and creamers, which I'm also happy to put into sets of one sugar bowl and one creamer instead of matched pairs. As with the other earrings these are $20 each or $30 for 2. Thanks for stopping by!

Today you get to see one of my show-stopper pieces. It's a sterling silver necklace in the weave Kinged Vipera Berus, which is one of my all-time favorite weaves. It's 15 inches long and features a beautifully luminous labradorite whose flash I have tried my best to capture here. This is one of those pieces I don't normally take the time to photograph and upload to Etsy because it's just so hard to capture the true beauty of the gemstone. It's a lot different when you can't pick it up and feel the weight of the silver or run your hands down the weave to feel how smooth and silky it is. I really love this piece and it was truly a joy to make, and I'm very sad that it's sitting with all my other silver pieces instead of going home with someone who will cherish it as much as I do.

This piece is available for $280, which includes shipping with insurance.
