When the price of gold skyrocketed, instead of turning in my scrap gold for cash, I started turning it into something I wanted to wear instead.
I melted down the scrap, rolled it into sheet metal, and started playing around with simple, comfortable bracelet designs that were then lasered directly onto my wrists (after my caster kindly help me attach them).
I recently added two more to my stack. Here’s a look at the process—from scrap gold to finished pieces. ✨
