Working with translucent clay is definitely a "trust the process" thing! I used alcohol inks to dye my clay varying colors of orange and brown, and added in some mica powders and metallic leaf, to give it some pizzazz. After baking, the true colors were brought out, and I think these future earrings turned out beautiful for fall!

I know I've been MIA on social media this summer, but it's been a busy one! We had our daughters wedding a few weeks ago, and that has taken most of my focus😊 BUT I had a great time last night at Plant Bingo at Rail Haus 😊 Thanks Tasha Terrigno for an excellent event! As a jewelry maker, this can be one of your biggest fears...your jewelry findings spilling out all over the floor/ground! Well, it happened to me yesterday at my outdoor event😬 The picture didn't quit capture just how may little pieces there were, BUT thankfully I only had 3 slots in my container full (which was probably why it fell in the 1st place🤦‍♀️), AND it wasn't real grass 🤣🤣. Made it so much easier to pick everything up, than real grass w/dirt would've, w/no particles to w**d thru 🙄 (no pun intended).

The Houseplant Expo and BINGO event Haus Beer Garden I attended today was hoppin'! I had a blast and my earrings were a HUGE hit! Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting this local small business (and others😊), and having a great time in the process! Can't wait for the next one🙂
