True story.

I loved music school, truly I did. But sometimes it was brutal. Like that time I was working on the Mozart clarinet concerto and my professor told me it was so bad Mozart was rolling in his grave.🥴

So you see, if I come across as a bit of a perfectionist in my wood art…it’s likely due to the trauma of earning a music degree.😂🎶

2025 has been a year of growth. And not the fun award-winning kind. The kind that drags you by the feet and forces you to make changes. Here’s some of the stuff that was going on behind the scenes that I never told you about. Some of it’s good, some of it’s not, but all of it was a learning experience.

There are some changes coming in 2026 as I live my life and run my business with more intention. Can’t wait to share!

In spring 2020, my husband and I used some leftover fence panels to cover up a broken window panel in our outdoor shed. Me being me, I decided to paint something pretty over the panel. This led to painting more quotes on more panels, and became a way for me to cope with severe anxiety during the pandemic. That was the beginning of this business, which has grown so much since then and has become my full time job. I’m so glad I painted that fence panel, because I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t!

I always say I love when my customers have better ideas than I do. Someone asked if I could turn the personalized mantle lights into a snow globe…and I absolutely love how it turned out.❤️

Thinking I might add this as an option next year. What do you think?

That’s it for 2025 folks! Thank you for all your support this year. It’s been a wild one.🙃 I’ve pivoted so many times this year I lost count. But in the end, this little business still grew and it’s been my best year in sales yet! This holiday season was my busiest one since opening my shop, with snow globes being the biggest of big hits! Over 120 snow globes went out the door!😳🥺

I am taking some time over the next few weeks to rest, spend time with my family, and plan for 2026. I have some new ideas I think you’ll all love.😊 I am so grateful for all of you. Wishing you the most wonderful holiday! See you in the new year!❤️

For the last few years, my church has been building a mental health ministry. Being a part of this team has really ignited a passion in me to become a better advocate for mental health, and to help more people who are struggling. This year, the motto of our ministry became “hope made safe.” We want everyone to feel safe, loved, and valued here without judgment.

So when I was asked a couple weeks ago if I could make these gift tags for the leaders and volunteers in our ministry, I couldn’t say no. This tag has so much meaning to me and the other volunteers who are working to bring hope and healing in our ministry.

May this be a reminder to you that hope is, and will always be, alive. Even in our darkest moments. Even when it feels like the world is on fire. HOPE always prevails.❤️
