Busy days! Cutting stones for the Octagon Art Festival at the end of September. Wood engraving and jewelry for the Renaissance Faire at Sleepy Hollow and a little Haunted Scream Park work too. Can’t wait to see you at the next event!

Join us at the Charles City Art-a-Fest this Saturday from 9:00 to 3:00. We've created new pieces to premier at this show and will have several of our cast silver pieces with gemstones as well. You will find the work of Megan Bigelow as well close by.

We enjoy explaining the botanical casting process during events.Sprue are the most difficult to explain.
Once the orchid and its sprue are mounted on the base and the cylinder added, plaster is poured in.
The orchid and sprue are burnt out over several hours. The sprue become the channels for silver to flow through the plaster to the void left when the orchid was also burnt out.
