I came home to the slightest crisp in the air. A nearly imperceptible shift to cooler nights and turning leaves. This summer girl is going to do her best to embrace fall and all her glory of letting go and resting for a time.

Happy Labor Day! I have one last day to soak up the Texas sun and it’s back to the mountains for this girl. I got to hug SO many of my favorite humans, we hit all the rooftops, wandered the city and ate the best food. There were paddleboard raves and pools for days and I’m coming home with a little more sparkle than I arrived with! It’s gem show week when I get home as well so let me what kind of sparkle you would like to see in your life!! I hope you’re relaxing as hard as you can today!

Some days are just solid gold! Yesterday was one of them! The vibes were perfect, the food incredible, and the company exquisite. I felt cherished, chosen and celebrated! And I couldn’t have loved it more. I hope y’all have humans that make you sparkle!I know I’m still glowing! My birthday sale is still live through Monday and now we paddleboard rave!

Another trip around the sun- trying to make it count as I bask in her light. The last year has been one of coming back to myself, rearranging my pieces and finding new ones. I have dreamt BIG and trusted the path without knowing where it leads. I have surprised myself and learned that life can still surprise me as well. I have put myself first for the first time in forever. And I have curated my life in a way that I can truly say I am proud of. I have been present with my babies, pursued my passion and poured into my people. I have frolicked in nature, embraced the pause, hoped, found joy in the simplest moments, danced, laughed until I cried and cried until I laughed, loved out loud, and protected my peace like my life depended on it. At 46 I can confirm- it does. Cheers to all of you I had the privilege of making memories with or shared a piece of my handmade heart with this last year. Cheers to another go ‘round! I love a good walk down memory lane and my birthday always encourages it. I am amazed at how much creativity has lived inside of me, been created and been completely forgotten. So many years, so many designs. It’s fun to scroll my IG to see the evolution. My skills, my photography, my words. All of it. Documented growth in real-time. What a gift. I am here for it. All of it. I am not the same as I was before. And I suppose that’s the point.

Yesterday was a first for me, y’all. I learned that art fair + tiny humans = the most adorable thing ever!!! Seeing how excited they were to say hello to everyone, decking them in my jewelry, and how eager they were to help their mama warmed my heart!!! Full disclosure: they were properly motivated but STILL! Things I heard them say: You make people really happy, Mommy. Everyone is so nice. This is fun! People really like your jewelry. Thank you for those simple reminders, babies. And such a beautiful perspective!!! Seeing the world through their eyes has always been my favorite thing but seeing the way they see what I do is a whole new level of beauty in this wild ride of raising tiny humans. One more day in Estes. Sadly, just me today but I look forward to more art adventures with these two!!!

The very last pieces of my raw chrysocolla. I have been hoarding this for more than a decade- for no particular reason except that I love it so. However, it’s time to release this wild, beauty into the wild! Seems fitting with our lunar eclipse tonight. If it’s not meant for you- there is no need to carry it.
