The Branded Bear is Closing.
The world is very different from when we started in 2005. Mom and Pop, brick-and-mortar stores are becoming a thing of the past. We are a dying breed.
We offer Made in USA authentic Native American products, and while we do have those who value these items, many prefer lower dollar imported items where the origin is not of importance. There is also the perception that online items have better pricing, which is only sometimes the case, nor is there much customer support post-sale. Additionally, the costs of doing business in brick-and-mortar stores have escalated significantly on all levels.
It is for these reasons we are moving to an online format. Those who have done business with me in the past and know how I do business during and after the sale, please know nothing will change there. I will still be available to those in the area if they are looking for something specific or wish to see an item offered online in person.

-Our last days open to the public will be this Friday and Saturday 12-5 pm.
-Outside of these hours, if we are at the store working on packing up, people may stop by, but please understand we are working on packing items. -There will be no further price reductions as inventory is being retained and will be on our website.
Thank you to our customers who have loved us and supported our mission. The goal was always to get these small pieces of history out into the world where their stories could live on, and you helped that happen. We hope to continue that with our online format, and we hope you’ll meet us there.
