Additional Information
Offered here is a very rare and downright incredible Omega chronograph, circa 1940 the Reference 2393, powered by the famous Cal. 33.3 movement, which was the predecessor to the Omega Cal. 321 and 27CH. This watch is fitted in a large, oval-pusher 38mm steel case, and is fitted with a white two-tone sector-snail dial with radium markers. These watches are very difficult to find, and most have aged very poorly over the year. According to the Omega Archives (misplaced by the previous owner, but guaranteed correct), this watch was delivered to Hungary in 1940.

This example is in exceptional vintage condition, with an unpolished case and razor sharp case, and insanely mint dial with only the faintest radium burn above the 6 o’clock marker. The watch also retains its original radium lume on both dial and hands, aged to a nice pale yellow. These early Omega chronographs are adorned by collectors, and considered some of the most desirable watches in the vintage world – the watch offered here is truly the nicest we have ever seen, hands down, and represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own one as close to “new old stock” as you can find.

Additional Information
Up for grabs is an exceptional example of the Reference 2915-3 Omega Speedmaster, which was the the very first model lines of the Omega Speedmaster, produced in the late 1950s. The serial number (1.66###x) dates this example to 1958-59. The very first Speedmaster is powered by Omega’s famous caliber 321. The Speedmaster 2915 reference is considered the holy grail of Speedmaster collecting, and it has becoming very difficult to find attractive examples. This watch was owned for over a decade by its prior owner, a South African native, who purchased it himself from the original owner.

The present example is in great vintage condition. The case appers unpolished, with normal wear, with the original factory edges still visible; the caseback shows an old engraving of a former owner, and the “Speedmaster” engraving at the edge of the caseback is crisp and visible. The dial is in great shape, showing no damage, marks, or wear. The original radium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a striking orange color. Finally, the watch retains its original “Base 1000” bezel, similarly very well-preserved with no wear.

Early Omega Speedmasters, and in particular the reference 2915, are extremely difficult to track down in this condition, and this has to be one of the finest examples of a -3 left in existence!

Up for grabs is a beautiful and super crisp early Patek Philippe Calatrava, reference 570, circa 1960s, housed in a rare 18kt white gold case. The reference 570 is a very popular reference amongst collectors for its larger (than Patek standards) case size and long lugs, giving it a nice presence on the wrist. An extract of the archive of Patek Philippe has been ordered, and will be provided to the buyer upon receipt.

The condition of this Patek Philippe Calatrava is great, overall very well-preserved. The case does not show any signs of polishing, with a sharp case and strong hallmarks under the lugs. The dial is unrestored with a strong raised enamel signature, and has aged to a stunning tropical creamy patina color, giving this watch a truly unique look.

Up for grabs is one of the rarest and certainly most beautiful (in our humble opinions) Rolex Day-Date to ever be produced – the factory stone “Coral” dial, reference 18238, circa 1994. Rolex produced a variety of stone-dialed Day-Dates and Datejusts, with the Coral dial being produced very scarcely.

This particular Rolex Day-Date with Coral dial is likely one of the nicest left in existence. The case is unpolished and sharp, with factory Rolex sticker still present on the back; the watch likely was stored for so long, that the case and bracelet have developed an incredible and rich patina/tarnish. Likewise, the stone dial is also immaculate, showing no cracks or hairlines. Finally, the original Rolex presidential bracelet is nice and tight, with minimal wear, and has 6 full links with no stretch, fitting an approximate 7.5″ wrist.

Up for grabs is a stunning and rare steel Rolex chronograph, the reference 2508, circa 1937. This particular 2508 is a “second generation” example, denoted by its 35mm case with square button pushers. Further, this example features a lovely salmon-color sector-snail dial, with both telemeter and tachymetre scales. This Rolex chronograph is in good vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but lightly, with thick and even lugs. The original dial shows aging/wear, consistent with the aging of these dials (and the fact that they were not waterproof cases), and noticeably, a scratch in the middle of the dial above “Antimagnetic”. Overall, the watch is very well-preserved, and you will be hard pressed to find another in this configuration!
