A note to our customers about gold & silver pricing right now:
Centerville Coin & Jewelry has been buying and refining scrap gold and silver for over 50 years. Through booms, busts, recessions, and record highs, this business has always followed a familiar rhythm: metal moves, refineries process it, and customers are paid fairly and efficiently.

Refineries that normally process scrap gold and silver are backed up, limiting intake or prioritizing large industrial and bullion contracts. Because this is an industry-wide issue, all coin dealers and jewelry buyers are being forced to pay less than spot to operate responsibly — regardless of experience, reputation, or size. This isn’t about reluctance to buy or fairness; it’s about managing risk in a system that is temporarily out of balance.
