All of our emerald chunks are priced. 😌🙏🏻They’re also the only pieces of emerald we have in our store, just a friendly FYI. 🤗 So that makes it rare in our parts!
When people are searching for crystals that do certain things, I always like to refer to the chakra colors. The primary (red, yellow, blue) and secondary colors (orange, green, purple) each correspond with the chakra wheels—green represents the heart chakra. Emerald would fall under this umbrella 😌
Emerald was at one point called smaragdus, which translates to emerald! The word emerald literally means “green stone”. It hails from Brazil (like our specimens pictured), Russia, Africa (like Egypt), Pakistan, and Australia.
There are a few myths and lots of history that I could find online associated with emerald, but I’m going to focus mainly on the metaphysical properties…
This stone represents free-flowing energy and directly empowers our heart center. It contains pure forms of love, compassion, sensuality, and healing. It’s good for revitalizing passions, whether that’s in a person, a job or a hobby. Working with emerald may help you realize the ways you haven’t truly loved yourself enough, thus leading you to true, genuine self-love.
It’s also thought to bring one abundance. It strengthens the heart, allowing it to open and accept universal blessings flowing into one’s life. I’m talking about abundance beyond wealth—I’m talking about the ability to receive the gifts of Spirit within all of life’s experiences and embrace its manifestations with gratitude. 🙏🏻
Finally, I want to mention that emerald is the birthstone for May. 💓 Ta**us and Geminis, it’s your stone too. 😌 Astrology is still a developing science, so take my opinion with a grain of salt if you desire, but Ta**us are some of the most patient people I’ve ever known. They are so gentle, loving, and forgiving. Geminis are so tapped-in. Their madness is really due to being in two places at once…Just my thoughts for the day, haha. My grandmother was a Ta**us, and she was the loveliest woman I’ve ever met. Taurean people have a very snug place in the center of my heart (chakra 🤣). 🥰💓💓💓🙌🏻
