Absolutely breathtaking French 18k gold miniature fan with both sides hand painted on enamel. One side three women likely, the Three Graces one holding a liar musical instrument. The other side, a water scape and landscape with mountains, and a tower and sailing ship. Formally from dangling from a stickpin. All that was added was a fitting so that it can be worn on a chain. Unbelievable. The fan does not open and close. Just over 1” or 26 mm. just taking the range of colors and Hughes. It’s absolutely breathtaking. No below that painted black and white illustration to resemble the sticks of a fan.
