Jeffrey Payne

Jeffrey Payne Dallas businessman and philanthropist Dallas businessman, Jeffrey Payne, has announced his bid for Governor of Texas. He founded the Sharon St.

Payne, a Democrat, says Texas needs a Governor who believes in Real Texas Values, like integrity, honesty, freedom and independence. We need to stop wasting our time and money on trivial legislation and start investing in finding ways to help Texans, their families, and their businesses prosper. Payne has a history of success, from his respected court reporting firm, to his real estate dealings, a

nd his thriving nightclub, The Dallas Eagle. His philanthropic work reflects his commitment to helping others not just in the greater Texas community. Cyr Fund, an organization which assists people in obtaining hearing aids as well as grants for sign language interpreters at public events. Born in Maine, Jeffrey lost his mother at age 3 and spent much of his childhood in an orphanage before entering foster care at age 15. From that point on he was driven to succeed no matter what the circumstances. By age 23, he was the owner of Payne's Fine Jewelry which marked the beginning of a series of successful ventures which were interrupted suddenly while living in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina wiped out everything he had built. He relocated to Dallas and started over again in 2005. Texas has been good to Jeffrey and he feels it's time he returned that good fortune by running for the governor's office. His strong commitment to Real Texas Values and his belief that he can make a difference in Texas “politics as usual” is what motivates him. We need a governor who is not a career bureaucrat, but one with real world experience and dedication to making Texas a better, safer, and healthier place for all Texans.
