Only Akoya pearls in silver-gray to bluish tones, completely untreated and accompanied by a certified Pearl Science Laboratory report, are eligible to be designated as Madama grade.
Out of 1,000 strands, finding even 10 that meet the standard is already impressive! To qualify, each pearl must have:
🔹 Extremely strong luster
🔹 Minimal blemishes
🔹 Perfect roundness
And every single pearl in the strand must meet these standards — even one subpar pearl disqualifies the entire strand!
It takes years to collect enough top-tier pearls to assemble one strand like this.
