Been doing a lot of reflection and reorganizing my thoughts since I had to take a health break from working.

The sails that drive Ocean Maiden Designs face winds and storms like every other ship. Each getting to where they need to be when they are supposed to.

If you know me, I try to do way too much, sometimes more than I should be. And I break. I collect the pieces, rebuild, and get at it again.

Something that hit me is that it might not be as much as I was hoping for by now, but there is growth.

But I still hold on to hope.
Or maybe I am just a captain going down with my ship.

Struggling with social media a lot lately because there’s no authenticity behind it anymore (if there ever was), even as I step out of my shell to try to be better at portraying a “successful” small business selling my art online and the occasional popup.

To be honest, I suck at my small business because I can’t deliver a sales pitch to save my life and I haven’t had a year where I wasn’t in the red.

I’d rather be working on my beadwork than be on here.
