My name is Angela, I am the co-founder of Para-Angel Bracelets & More, the founder is the late and dearly missed Shirley Zeigler. Shirley is my mother and if not for her I probably would not be doing bracelets with paracord. I have had an interest in doing bracelets for a very long time but never really jumped in and started doing anything about it until recently. Shirley is my Angel now and can n
ot be here any longer due to a very long battle with complications from an ulcer. She spent the last 11 months of her short life in hospitals and long term care facilities. While she was at a rehab center in Temple Texas she spent some of her time doing crafts and different activities in the day room. Yes you guessed it, that is where she learned to tie paracord bracelets. She wanted to make some for each of her grandchildren so that is what I helped her do. While she never had the opportunity to make them and go to events it did give me a nice change of pace in the daily hum drum of hospital life. Shirley tired of helping make bracelets and only watched while I finished up where she left off. She is still watching today from upon a fluffy white cloud in the heavens and thoughts of her run through my mind with each and every bracelet I make today. This is how the name Para-ANGEL came about. R.I.P Mom
