Just when I think it can't get any better, it does!
Great class yesterday at FiveOaks art studio. All 9 students worked hard to transform their Metal Clay into fabulous solid silver pendants. My baby kiln made its debut as well. Thank you Adeline Bono for letting me use your beautiful studio!

I have completed the requirements for my Artclay Level 1 Certification. It was an intense 4 day class taught by the fabulous Pam East near Olympia Washi ton. We completed 8 projects, learing many new techniques in creating with Metal Clay.

Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 11am - 5pm
Embeddable Stones in Metal Clay
Cost: $65 + non-refundable $37 supply deposit.
In this class, you will make a pendant or a pair of earrings. You will choose a texture, template, and a 2mm CZ color to personalize your piece(s). I will guide you through the processes of creating, drying, refining, patinating, and polishing. Your piece(s) will be kiln-fired during class.
Supply kit: 10 grams of Silver Clay, 2mm CZs, jump rings, ear wires, pro-polish pad, disposable brushes, polishing cloth, and a non-tarnish tab. (The size and # of pieces you make will be based on the amount of clay you have to work with. If you want to create a set like the one pictured, you will need an extra 5g of clay, which I can provide for an additional $12)

**Bring a chain for your completed pendant. If you don't have one, I will have various sizes and styles for sale, ranging from $10-$25 depending on size and style**
