Where it Began...
Bit-O-Beads Jewelry was born in 2006 in Columbus, Ohio by Sarah. It all began with one small dream, lots of creative jewelry making and most of all GREAT CUSTOMERS, who keep her continually inspired and designing. Following graduation from Ohio State University and a trip to Hobby Lobby with $32, Sarah created and sold a vibrant and delicate line of Buckeye jewelry from a booth
in front of the 7-Eleven store across from the Ohio State stadium. Soon she expanded and was successfully selling her designs at area craft shows. In 2007, Sarah ventured to Key West, Florida for the winter season. Walking the beautiful beaches of the Florida Keys, she was inspired to create genuine beach glass jewelry from pieces she found. Successful in her business endeavors on the streets on Key West, she soon added a Swarovski crystal line. After almost 7 years of doing shows all over New England, Ohio and Florida, Sarah has expanded and now sells wholesale to retails stores all over the United States. Sarah now resides in Anna Maria Island, Florida doing craft shows all over the west coast of Florida, east coast of Florida and the Florida Keys on occasion. During the summer months of July and August you can find her setup in Cape Cod at shows. In the fall she will be in front of 7 Eleven at every Ohio State Football Game selling her Buckeye Jewelry.
