🍷 + 🏓 = Controlled Chaos Tomorrow

Just a heads up, friends!

The boutique will be OPEN tomorrow, but there will be NO permanent jewelry or piercing services in the studio.

Here's where you'll find us:

🍇 Kesha will be at the Indiana Wine Fair at Story Inn sipping, socializing, and bringing the sparkle to wine country.

🏓 Shelby will be representing us in Louisville at the Downtown Pickleball Street Fest & Wellness Expo, proving once again that we apparently refuse to stay in one place.

🛍️ The boutique will remain open for shopping, browsing, and all the retail therapy your heart desires.

If you've been meaning to stop in and check out the new arrivals, tomorrow is a great day to do it. If you're looking for piercings or permanent jewelry, we'll be back at it soon.

We're a little spread out across two states tomorrow, like a very fashionable game of Where's Waldo, but we've got you covered. 💕✨

No more pencils… JUST TINSEL ✨

Kick off summer break with sparkle strands, colorful hair tinsel, and good vibes at Midwest Malibu Boutique!

This Thursday & Friday from 11AM–5PM we’re hosting a walk-in Hair Tinsel Event while Shelby trains and perfects her sparkle magic. Then she's riding solo on Saturday from 11am to 3pm!

To help with training, hair tinsel services will be discounted during the event 💖

Sent Shelby on a solo mission to Toyota and she absolutely understood the assignment.

Powered by caffeine, first time solo nerves, and pure survival instinct… and still out there welding like a tiny jewelry mercenary.

Proud is an understatement. Watching your people handle business without you hovering nearby like an overstimulated raccoon mom? Elite feeling.

🚧 HOLD THE PHONE 🚧

We’re hitting pause on some piercing services while we level this place up.

Here’s the deal:

• All body piercings (except ears + nostrils/septums) are paused until AFTER July 10th.
• All Ear + nostril + septum piercings will continue until construction kicks off in mid-June.
• Once construction starts, we’ll temporarily be doing LOBE piercings only.

Why? Because we’re remodeling, upgrading, and building a cleaner, more elevated piercing experience. After construction, our updated setup will be submitted for approval through the licensing agency before full services resume.

The goal?
✨ A dedicated sterile room
✨ An autoclave setup
✨ Higher quality materials
✨ More jewelry options
✨ An overall better experience for everyone trusting us with sharp objects and bad decisions

We know transitions can be annoying. Trust me, living inside construction dust while explaining building codes is not exactly the rockstar life either. But these upgrades matter and they’re going to push us to the next level.
