What an excellent first market! We went in with open expectations and walked away with a highly positive experience.

The turnout was steady without being overwhelming (100 or less) and we’re proud of our performance. While some vendors didn’t have any sales, we achieved 12 transactions totaling $230.54. That's about $38 per hour over the 6 hours we spent onsite.

Here's what we learned:

Our hair clips, turtles, ducks, and jewelry performed reasonably well, but we identified opportunities to streamline our offerings.

We learned that displaying fewer items can better guide customer choices.

We're considering adjusting our booth setup and presentation for the next event. It seemed like the "U" setup created hesitation for some customers who weren't sure about walking into our space.

We’re excited about the possibility of a Kid-Specific Market next time.
