🍂🌿 FALL OPEN APPLICATIONS ARE HERE!

Farm Hippie is opening vendor applications for Collinsville, Claremore & Bartlesville — and if you've been thinking about getting your products onto our shelves, now is the time to throw your hat in the ring!

Here's a little peek behind the curtain at how we fill openings, because Farm Hippie isn't simply first-come, first-served.

When space becomes available, our first consideration is always growers and producers bringing fresh, locally grown food to our communities — produce, fruits, vegetables and other farm-grown goods. From there, we look heavily at value-added food producers, then begin working our way through other categories based on available space, product mix and what each individual store needs.

Right now, we do have active waitlists in a couple of especially full categories, including jewelry, skincare, and sourdough. That does NOT mean you can't apply! It simply means those categories may have a longer wait before the right opening becomes available. Keeping an application on file means we already know who you are when it does.

And remember: you don't have to choose all three stores. You can apply for Collinsville, Claremore, Bartlesville, or any combination that makes sense for your business. For producers who can keep all three locations consistently stocked, though, being in all three can be a pretty fantastic way to expand your reach across three different Oklahoma communities.

Being a Farm Hippie vendor also means you're joining a whole lot more than a shelf. Over the years, we've built a vendor program designed specifically around helping small Oklahoma businesses grow, with things like our Ride Share inventory transportation program, vendor support and resources, multi-location opportunities, vendor discounts, supplemental insurance opportunities, marketing and a community of fellow farmers, bakers, ranchers, makers and producers who genuinely understand this weird little small-business life. 💚

Farm Hippie was built to give Oklahoma producers a place to grow, and seven years later, we're still finding new ways to do exactly that.

So whether you've got tomatoes coming out your ears, a value-added product we haven't seen before, or you're patiently joining one of those waitlisted categories...

APPLY. 🌻

We can't consider your business for the right opening if we don't know you're out there.

📚🌿 NEW VENDOR ALERT — AND OUR BOOKSHELVES JUST GOT A LITTLE MORE MYSTERIOUS. 👣🛸

We have such a special place in our hearts for our local authors at Farm Hippie. There's just something pretty darn cool about walking into a store, picking up a book, and knowing the person who dreamed it up, researched it, wrote it and poured their stories onto those pages is right here in Oklahoma.

So we're VERY excited to introduce you to Paul G. Buckner!

Paul is an award-winning, Amazon bestselling Oklahoma author whose writing takes you from action and adventure to folklore, Bigfoot, UFOs and the paranormal—and yes, we already know some of you are heading straight for that last section. 😂👣🛸

A citizen of the Cherokee Nation and an avid outdoorsman, Paul's love of storytelling goes back much further than becoming an author. He grew up with the oral storytelling traditions of his Cherokee family, collecting folktales along with stories shared by people he's met throughout his travels across the United States. Some of those stories have been passed from one generation to the next, and that connection to storytelling, history and place continues to inspire his writing today.

His work includes the award-winning Hawthorn Lake action-adventure series as well as the award-winning Bigfoot, UFOs & the Paranormal nonfiction series, bringing together adventure, mystery, folklore and plenty of the unexplained.

And THAT is one of the things we love about having Oklahoma authors on our shelves. You're not just grabbing another book off a rack. You're discovering stories shaped by the people, places, history and traditions around us.

📚 And good news—you can find Paul's books at ALL THREE Farm Hippie locations! Look for him alongside our other wonderful Oklahoma authors in Collinsville, Claremore AND Bartlesville.

So next time you're in, go browse the bookshelf, pick one up and take a little Oklahoma storytelling home with you.

Paul, WELCOME TO FARM HIPPIE! 💚📚 We're awfully glad to have your stories on our shelves.

Now, important question for everybody else:

👣 BIGFOOT. UFOs. PARANORMAL.

Which rabbit hole are you going down first? 😂

📦♻️ OKAY, THIS ONE FEELS LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR FARM HIPPIE.

From the very beginning, part of our mission at Farm Hippie has been finding practical ways to make shopping more sustainable—supporting local, reusing what we can, reducing waste, and helping good things stay in circulation instead of heading for the landfill.

If you've been around here awhile, you already know that.

If you're new here... well, now you do. 😂💚

So when we were given the opportunity to become an official Vinted Go Shop, it felt like the stars aligned in just about every possible way.

And today we FINALLY get to tell you:

🎉 FARM HIPPIE IS NOW AN OFFICIAL VINTED GO DROP-OFF & PICK-UP LOCATION! 🎉

And not just a location...

We're the ONLY Vinted Go Shop in Oklahoma! 🤯

📍 For now, Vinted Go will be available at our Collinsville flagship store only. We're starting there while we learn the system, get our processes down, and figure out exactly how this works in the day-to-day Farm Hippie world.

But you know us. 😂 We already have our sights set on bringing it to Claremore and Bartlesville, too. Once we've got Collinsville rolling smoothly and work through the expansion process with Vinted Go, our hope is to make all three Farm Hippie locations available.

If you're already a Vinted shopper or seller, you probably understand why we're excited.

If you're thinking, you guys, what the heck is Vinted? 😂 — here's the scoop.

Vinted is an online marketplace where people buy and sell secondhand clothing and other pre-loved items. Instead of something perfectly useful being tossed aside, it gets another life with somebody who wants it. Don't have the app? Maybe this is your sign...

And now Farm Hippie gets to be part of the trip.

With Vinted, sellers can bring their ready-to-ship Vinted packages to Farm Hippie Collinsville for drop-off, and shoppers using eligible Vinted Go delivery options can have packages delivered to our location for pick-up.

So you can swing into Farm Hippie for your Vinted package and maybe accidentally leave with a fried pie, some local honey, a loaf of sourdough and three things you absolutely did not come in for.

You know. Efficiency. 😂

But beyond the convenience, it's the sustainability piece that made this such a natural fit for us.

Secondhand shopping keeps perfectly good things in circulation longer. Pick-up and drop-off networks can help consolidate the way packages move through communities. And it all fits into something Farm Hippie has cared about since the beginning: finding realistic, everyday ways to reduce waste and make more sustainable choices.

Reuse. Resell. Rehome. Refill. Shop local. Waste less.

Turns out all of those things have a whole lot in common. 💚

We're incredibly excited to bring another resource to our community—and pretty darn tickled that our little flagship store gets to put OKLAHOMA on the Vinted Go map. 📦♻️

So now we have to know...

WHO ALREADY USES VINTED?! 👀

And who's currently thinking, Well okay, now I have to go see what this is. 😂

Welcome to Farm Hippie, Vinted Go.

This feels like a REALLY good fit. 🌿♻️📦

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

Farm Hippie is CLOSED today while our team enjoys a well-earned day off. 💚

We spend a whole lot of days each year stocking shelves, helping customers, checking in vendors, hauling boxes, cleaning coolers, baking up ideas and doing all the little things it takes to keep three stores going.

Today, we’re not doing any of them. 😂

To our incredible Farm Hippie team: thank you for everything you do for our stores, our vendors, our customers and our communities. We hope you enjoy every minute of your day off!

And to our Farm Hippie family—we’ll see you Tuesday!

Happy Labor Day!

Consider this a little PSA — and a great big THANK YOU — to the people who grow, raise, bake, make, harvest, and produce the food that feeds our communities.

Because today's food climate can feel a little scary.

Sometimes it feels like we're not even sure what's actually food anymore. Recalls seem constant. Our food can travel thousands of miles and pass through multiple countries before it ever reaches a grocery store shelf. And somewhere along the way, we've become incredibly disconnected from the people and places responsible for feeding us.
Seven years ago, that's a big part of why we opened Farm Hippie.

Before COVID. Before supply-chain shortages. Before "shop local" became a survival strategy. Before food freedom and knowing where your food comes from became conversations happening around dinner tables everywhere.

We wanted to build a place where LOCAL really meant local.

A place where you could know who raised your beef. Who grew your vegetables. Who milled your wheat. Who gathered your eggs. Who baked your bread. Who made the things sitting on your pantry shelf.

And seven years later, that mission means more to us than ever.
Supporting local food isn't just about keeping dollars in our community — although that's pretty darn important.
It's about sustainability. It's about shorter supply chains. It's about knowing where your food comes from. It's about preserving skills and farms and small businesses. It's about stronger communities. And yes, it's about food freedom.

So today, we're just saying thank you.
To every farmer with dirt under their nails. Every rancher checking cattle when it's 105° outside. Every grower praying for rain — or praying it'll finally stop. Every producer turning what they raise and grow into something that feeds another family.

And to every single person who chooses to buy from them:
You're part of the local food system, too.
No farmers. No food.

And around here, we'll never forget it. 💚

Local food. Local people. Local freedom.
