Here’s a piece that Glenn finished recently. This beautiful cocktail ring was designed and hand-made by Glenn using the customer’s stones and set in palladium. We love how it turned out! 💚

Friends, we are so appreciative of the messages, calls, texts and prayers! Glenn has been home resting, but it’s taken a bit longer to get his strength back than we both expected. He hopes to be back in the store next week. We sure appreciate your patience and understanding while he heals and gets back to the Glenn we know and love. Thank you again for the prayers.❤️

Glenn’s tests were all negative. No cancer! God is good! It was definitely a long 16 days, but the chest tubes are out, his lung looks clear and he is ready to go home! The doctors aren’t quite sure what the cause was—it could have been trauma from the Six Flags ride, pneumonia that just went haywire or another type of infection that presented very strangely—but the good news is that after he finishes with 4 weeks of IV antibiotics and some PT, he should be as good as new! Thank you to everyone that prayed for him. We are forever grateful! ❤️

Thank you, friends. We are so blessed to have this community behind us. ❤️❤️❤️

We appreciate all the prayers you’ve said for Glenn this past week. I’m here to humbly ask for more. The cat scan today did not show any improvement in Glenn’s right lung. He now has pneumonia is his left lung, which had been clear. We are currently awaiting an ambulance to transport him to Baptist East for surgery. Please pray that the surgery is successful and that Glenn recovers quickly and without complications. It has been a very long nine days and we are ready to get him back home where he belongs. Thanks to everyone who has prayed for Glenn, brought us food and checked on us. We love and appreciate you all. ❤️

UPDATE: 7/31 1:30pm—I’m here again asking for prayers. The results of the ct-scan on Glenn’s lung were not what we’d hoped. While the chest tube is working to drain one area, several pockets remain in other areas that the doctor described as “walled off”. This means that the antibiotics Glenn has been getting will likely not touch them nor will the chest tube. Unless something miraculous happens, he is going to need to have lung surgery to manually remove those pockets. The plan is to leave the chest tube in until the output is less than 100ml a day and then do another ct-scan. We need those pockets to be gone when he is scanned again. Please pray that those pockets dissipate so that lung surgery will not be needed. Please also pray that Glenn’s outlook stays positive and his spirits stay high. Thank you for all the offers to help, bring food and for just checking in. We appreciate you all so much. ❤️

UPDATE: 7/29 10:00pm— THANK YOU, GOD! FRIENDS, YOUR PRAYERS WORKED! Glenn is back in normal sinus rhythm and most importantly, his rate has evened out at a beautiful 87. He is feeling SO much better. We cannot thank you enough for covering him in prayer. Hoping we are on the path to getting him home soon. Love to you all. ❤️

UPDATE: 7/29 8:00pm— Glenn needs your prayers. While his lung is beginning to look better and he can breathe a bit easier, his heart is causing some problems. He is in a-fib again with a heart rate of 160-170. We have not seen any improvement after three medications. The doctor has ordered something he can take orally and they are bringing that medication shortly. Please pray that this medicine works and the doctors are able to get Glenn’s heart rate down and get him back in a normal rhythm. We are so grateful to everyone that has been praying already, texting and messaging to check on us. We can feel the love and concern. ❤️

Thank you so much for the prayers. The chest tube was placed yesterday. The transfer between hospitals was a little confusing, but we are back at Collierville Baptist. Glenn said it was okay to post an update…

UPDATE: 7/28 11:00am—The pulmonologist came in this morning. He was not satisfied with the output from the
chest tube (there’s only been 30ccs come out so far since yesterday). Glenn is also still wheezing a lot. The doctor ordered a chest x-ray. The chest x-ray shows that his lung is still full of the pockets of blood/fluid. He said that what can happen over a few days is that the fluid/blood in the lungs starts to “congeal” and get thick and that’s why it’s not draining. He injected some medicine in the lung and clamped off the chest tube so that the medicine will sit in the lung and hopefully break up the pockets. In an hour they will unclamp the tube and hopefully a lot more will drain out. They are going to do the same thing for an hour tomorrow and an hour on Sunday. If after those three times of injecting medicine the pockets do not drain out, then he will have to be moved back to Baptist East and a thoracic surgeon will have to open his chest and clear out his lung that way. We don’t want to have to go that route so please say some prayers this medicine works. They sent off some of what was in his lung to the lab yesterday. We won’t know what we are dealing with as far as underlying cause until early next week when those labs come back. Keep those prayers coming. We are so appreciative. ❤️
