Wow, that looks amazing!

A 6.03-carat blue-diamond ring is likely to fetch as much as CHF 9.5 million ($12.2 million) at an upcoming Sotheby’s sale in Geneva.

The ring centers a cushion-shaped, fancy-vivid-blue, internally flawless, type IIb stone. It will be among the top pieces at the May 12 High Jewelry auction, according to the auction house’s website.

Wow, that looks like 100% color change to me. Very very rare in a gem of that size.

Sotheby’s will showcase a 4.37-carat alexandrite ring at its upcoming Hong Kong jewelry sale, expecting the piece to fetch up to HKD 1.5 million ($191,460).

The ring features a color-changing oval Brazilian alexandrite that shifts between greenish-blue during daylight and purple under incandescent light. It will lead the auction house’s Fine Jewelry sale, which runs from April 15 to 29.

Wow!! Eight times the high estimate...Red must really be in!!

A Cartier ruby and diamond ring took the spotlight at the recent Sotheby’s auction in Paris, bringing in more than eight times its high estimate.

A bombé design, the piece centers an oval cushion-shaped, 4.12-carat Burmese ruby, with a surround of brilliant- and single-cut diamonds. It realized EUR 486,400 ($560,322) against a high price of EUR 60,000 ($69,119) at the March 31 Fine Jewelry sale, according to Sotheby’s.

What i would pay to get this under my microscope...

An emerald and diamond ring stole the show at a recent jewelry sale at Phillips in Hong Kong.

The piece, which features a step-cut, 9.22-carat Colombian emerald within a surround of trapeze-cut diamonds, brought in HKD 5.4 million ($691,522) at the Hong Kong Jewels auction, which concluded on March 30, according to the Phillips website. The price was within its HKD 4.8 million to HKD 6.5 million ($640,000 to $833,000) estimate.

I had the pleasure of speaking at the Southlake Newcomers Club luncheon at the beautiful Trophy Club Golf Course, and it was truly such a wonderful experience.

The theme of the evening was “From Russia with Sparkle,” and the ladies absolutely brought it to life—elegantly dressed in black dresses and furs, creating such a fun and glamorous atmosphere filled with great conversation and delicious food.
