I held onto this verse for over five years as I prayed and waited for my Ethiopian adopted daughter to come home. Jeremiah 29:11 states, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, pla
ns to give you hope and a future.” I learned to trust that He knew what He was doing back then, and now I have a beautiful 7-year-old Lydia Bereket (“blessing”) to prove it, and I know that He knows what He is doing with my life right now. Kids are my passion, and my love of artwork is another. Along with this new and exciting title, came the sad reality that our children are leaving our nest. I knew this would some day happen. However, I never planned for them to settle all over the world. Since my daughter married an Argentine, that meant she would move to Argentina to live with her husband, temporarily at least. Not only does my daughter live a distance away from our nest, but our first born son, who is a Marine, is stationed in North Carolina. Too far to make a weekend trip. And so, I will once again, take delight in that the Lord knows my desire to visit my children and that he will grant me the desires of my heart. Thus, I gave birth to Wire Delights
I love making jewelry and my family has encouraged me to try using my hobby as a way to raise money to bring me closer to my kids. Because of them I am so excited to launch my newest endeavor. I started making jewelry after attending a silver jewelry party, because I wanted to have the same kind of high quality jewelry without the high prices.
