Duplicating a keepsake 🩷❤️🩷
A new customer came to see us based upon the wonderful referral from a relative whom we'd recently helped with a special custom piece. Her mom had a great experience with us and knew we would be able to help her daughter with her jewelry needs!
She brought us her wedding set which meant the world to her as it had originally belonged to her husband's grandparents many years ago. His grandpa had a jeweler in the family and he was able to hand select the ring setting and diamond himself.
Many years later, when her then boyfriend was planning his proposal, his grandmother took the ring off her finger and gave it to her grandson 🥰
She said yes to the proposal and was honored to wear this treasured ring! Years passed and now the ring was in need of some repair work along with adjusting the size as she hadn't been able to wear it recently.
Living out of town in a larger city, she didn't know where to go so she came to see us to discuss getting this ring back in tip-top shape! We did our homework and found with the repair work needed along with the delicate metal having been worn down through the years...it would be in her best interest to have us custom make her a new ring...duplicating the original design and using the gold from the original ring.
We created CAD images for us both to confirm the design was perfect and from there, grandma's ring was reproduced! And we were able to reengrave a special saying into the ring that had worn away 🥰
