It has also changed into Fine Arts, or a collector's items, where many people around the world covet them. ILA is a platform where Indigenous individuals can showcase their occupation, trade, skill, craft and artistry to the world. Individuals can interact on a personal level and speak their own stories. ILA advocates for the Indigenous crafter/artist by advertising & marketing their items, introducing them to potential customers, as well as keeping the craftsmanship unique and genuine. ILA also advocates for the buyer/customer by informing them of the craftsmanship done by Indigenous individuals and the natural materials being used. Bridging the gap between studio and client, the best way to help one another is by sharing our knowledge.
