We just got back from the Bench Jeweler Workshop at Stuller Inc. in Lafayette, LA! 💎✨
To give you an idea of the scale, Stuller is the largest jewelry manufacturer and tool supplier in North America—we’re talking a massive 660,000-square-foot playground for jewelers. We spent two full days diving into the "latest and greatest" tech to keep our craft sharp.
We spent most of our time geeking out with the Gemvision CAD/CAM team and the Laser techs, mastering new ways to design and repair your pieces with insane precision. Basically, we’re coming home with some serious high-tech upgrades for your next custom project! 🛠️💻

Our new 3D printer along with the new wash and cure station came in today. Our old printer was wearing out…. So we upgraded. Our old 3D printer printed in 4K resolution. This new one prints at 9k resolution and prints even faster than the old one.

Nicholas knocked this one out of the park! This thing is crazy beautiful! I am totally amazed at how far he and Taylor have come in 6 years! click the ring and check it out in all its glory... If you click the ball at the bottom of the screen you can even change the metal color from white to yellow or even two tone.

Hey everyone, we’ve got a "perfect storm" situation happening at the shop. 🌪️
Here is the deal:
🤒 The Crew is Down: Both Taylor and Nick have been hit with a sudden illness. We are officially short-handed and need them to recover!

📞 The Phones are a Joke: Our new AT&T fiber optic lines are currently winning "Most Unreliable Technology." They are down more than they are up. If you call and don't get through, it’s not you or me, it is 100% AT&T!!!

✈️ Buying Trip: We have a pre-planned buying trip this Thursday through Sunday to go get some new tools for the workshop as we are tripling the size of our workshop, as well as test drive more new Tec!

The Bottom Line: We will be closed for the next day or two while we focus on getting healthy. Depending on how recovery goes, we may remain closed through the weekend for the buying trip.

Stephanie and I are at the store working but we are old and busted and cannot handle all the traffic alone. Taylor and Nick took the 2 of the CAD computers home and are working remotely from home.

Another INCREDIBLE ring envisioned, designed, and manufactured by our team. We all four Work on these rings we all have a part to play in the process. THIS is what we do at Britt Jewelry. This is the reason you cant get a watch battery or chain solder while you wait and its also the reason we are all in jeans everyday. We work hard, we get dirty, and we are very good at what we do. 😧😳. Guys if you want something made for Mother’s Day you should come see us now!!! The shop is over run making engagement rings and wedding bands. Custom jewelry is a process and takes time. You snooze you loose!!

This is Katelyn Britt, She loves animals and is a pharmacy tec here in town at Walgreens. She sometimes helps us out at Britt Jewelry stringing pearls and findings diamonds that we accidently drop on the floor.
