Alexandrite is such a unique gemstone in that it changes color when viewed in different types of lighting. In natural daylight (fluorescent lighting) it appears green, blue/green or shades of green. In artificial light (incandescent lighting) it will appear red, purplish/red or shades of red. Pretty cool!

Mistakes aren't always a bad thing. I engraved the wrong initials on this beautiful sterling silver charm (about the size of a dime). Is this your monogram? If so, and you would like to claim this piece, let me know. If you are local, you can stop by and pick it up. If you are out of town, I can mail it to you for shipping charges of $1.99. Whoever contacts me first gets it.

For those of you too young to know what a monogram is, your first initial of your last name is in the center, your first initial of your first name is on the left and your first initial of you last name is on the right. 😉
