The hands on Viajero SE are shaped after a 17th Century period specific compass. Originally used for measuring distances on a map, featured here as a symbolic nod to that era and practice.

On the Grayscale version, they are thermal blued to provide a slight pop of color and contrast to the rest of the monochromatic dial.
