I'm still over here doing stuff. It's just slow with silver prices being what they are. Don't give up on us yet, because the good news is, it's forced me to learn quite a few new metalsmithing skills. Come dance with us at the Gathering of the People. You'll feel better.
The puppy is just a visitor we had at my dayjob today & is added for your viewing pleasure. 8-week-old Labrador. Gonna be a big dog. Hope you're wearing a smile today like he is.

Many thanks to all and much love to those who came out to see us at White Oak Craft Fair over the weekend. I loved seeing all of your shining faces, hearing your own stories of travels and adventures, and making new friends. It was a successful weekend, and the pup is definitely happy we're home. We hope to see you at Ketner’s Mill Craft Fair in Whitwell TN the first weekend in October as well. I'll be in the studio all week making new things, to include the FOURTH piece in my Tennessee State Parks series. After that one, 56 more parks to go! 🙂🥳🥳🥳

Meanwhile, you have people in here like me who have a full-time day job. An almost 14-year career now with the state that I absolutely love. Art is also satisfying & therapeutic though, & something I absolutely encourage my adult students to enjoy in their spare time. This piece was a joy to create & is a donation piece for a fundraiser. All handfabricated, to include chain & Tennessee emblem clasp. King's Manassa turquoise. I'll have similar pieces at White Oak Craft Fair in September & Ketner’s Mill in October, including another piece in my Tennessee State Parks series, inspired by a magnificent hiking trip in North Chickamauga Creek Gorge State Park.

Been a while, y'all. Still making things. Beautiful heavy Rocky Butte Jasper set ring as a reminder of the frogs and their song as we camped at the Gathering of the People Pow Wow and family reunion. It is for sale, of course. Also, my wife and my mama dancing with the sun shining down behind them. Hope to see you all at a Pow Wow or crafts fair soon.

For those who hadn't figured it out, it's the path of the Harpeth River. Many thanks ahead to TN State Parks as I used their map. It's cloudy so I'll take pics again later to show you how these opals shine. Two opals, one for the Cumberland and one for the Ohio as these are the way by which the Harpeth is part of the Mississippi River watershed. River coordinates on the back. Name on the toggle. Great place for fishing (I remember a particularly good trip myself), kayaking, sightseeing, RELAXING! See you at the Festival!
