How has God met your weakness with His strength?
I’ve read this verse many, many times.
Quoted this verse many times.
Pondered this verse many times.
Today I read something that caught my attention, from The Bible App, it said:
“So when God tells Paul, ‘my grace is sufficient,’ what he’s essentially saying is,
‘I am enough for you.’”
🙌
My study this morning ended with this simple question,
How has God met your weakness with His strength?
So I took a moment to look back at my life. All the moments I felt so powerless. So helpless. In my marriage, finances, relationships, pregnancies, motherhood, illness, and so many other challenges….
I could see that despite how hard they were,
God has been faithful.
Through it all.
And it’s not because of anything I did.
Praise God, His grace is sufficient. 🙌
Because in my flesh, I did not deserve any of it.
I am so grateful because His strength is not dependent upon my ability or worth.
It’s not determined by our achievements or our skills or religious qualifications.
That’s why Paul said, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
Looking back, it amazes me all He has brought me through. And not just me, but my family. And I know it’s hard to see when life is constantly pressing down. When you are facing something very hard. When it seems there is no end in sight. When prayers seem to go unanswered.
But God is still working.
The good fight of faith, more times than not, looks uncertain on the outside.
We walk by faith, not by sight.
That’s why it’s so important to fix our eyes on Christ.
To run the race with our vision set on the prize. Not our circumstances.
Finishing the race through perseverance and understanding that, it’s not about winning the race.
It’s about focus.
Reminder: You are not running the race alone.
Trust in God. ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
