Kittens in training cannot free roam our house. They have to be kept in an area of our home so they don’t get lost. This litter lives in our master bedroom and bathroom when unsupervised. They are so entertaining!

I keep the door shut to both closet and toilet. They are mischief! 😂 if I’m in there, Galaxy acts like a puppy. She’s putting her paws on my legs as if to tell me “pick me up”. Apollo likes to play with your toes lol. Luna is the reserved one. She observes every moment and waits to see what you are going to do before she approaches. If you accidentally leave the door open to the toilet area…. Oh boy is that fun for them! A roll of toilet paper and a trash can with a liner… so much fun!

By the time I’m finished brushing my teeth I turn around and I have an audience of three cute faces staring up at me. I’m going to miss these cuties!

Off to the vet! 🩺🐾

Today is the kittens’ big checkup day! We always make sure every kitten gets a thorough wellness exam before heading home.

We’re hoping for a great report, but we’ll let the vet have the final say. 🤞

Today was a big milestone for the Cosmic Crew! 🛁🐾

While kittens are very young, they don’t really need baths because their mom does such a great job keeping them clean. But now that they’re older, litter box training, and getting ready for their upcoming vet visit, it felt like the perfect time for their very first bath, blow dry, and nail trim.

Before anyone asks… 😄 I don’t normally bathe our kittens in the kitchen sink. My grooming tub is out of commission right now, so we improvised for the day.

One of our goals is to introduce grooming while they’re still young so baths, blow dryers, and nail trims become normal experiences instead of something scary later in life.

I’d say the Cosmic Crew handled their first spa day like little pros… and they’re extra fluffy now! ❤️

Every time I share one of our Maine C**n kittens, I see comments that say, “Adopt, don’t shop.”

I understand where those comments come from, and I truly believe adoption is a wonderful choice for many families. Every animal deserves a loving home.

But I also believe ethical, responsible breeders have an important role to play.

In this video, I’m sharing why I chose to become a breeder, what responsible breeding looks like, and why I don’t believe it has to be an “adopt vs. shop” debate. Maine C***s would go extinct if it weren’t for breeders.
