Blingety bling! Here's a sneak peek of what's on deck for this weekend's show at Driftwood shores.

No such thing as too much purple, so a phosphosiderite gets to hang out with this yummy rhodolite garnet. And then there's one of my faves, ultra blingy sphene/titanite (very high dispersion), grooving with an Indonesian river jasper.

Also, proof to dispel the myth that being a jeweler is glamorous, and affirming that shop dog hates rainy weather. She doesn't get why mama doesn't let her outside when it's pouring buckets.

So what does National Dog Day have to do with jewelry? Everything 😅😊! This is my sweetpea Evie who hangs with me in the studio, even in the wee hours. Life is 100% better with dogs 🐕 😀.

Jeweler musings. Ring repair. I completed this in February of this year. The client did a 'DIY' job removing the original stone from this 14k ring. Note the really deep gouges and scratches caused by the tool he used (flathead screwdriver maybe??) I had to do a lot of filing/re-sculpting to get out the deepest scratches and maintain the rounded profile of the ring. He wanted a bluish-green turquoise to replace it, so I cut one to fit the opening. Happy customer

I focus on my 'art jewlery' and don't often do repairs, but I am a trained bench jeweler. Just try to do my best to satisfy the client. 😊
