Hinhanni wastè (Good morning)! I felt compelled to take a moment and just breathe and feel blessed for all the good in my life now.
I appreciate everyone that has liked my page and even though this page went silent for a long time, still feel free to reach out anytime.
About 6 1/2 years ago, I suffered 4 major strokes. They left me paralyzed on one side of my body. I had to learn how to function, swallow and talk all over again. I was wheelchair bound. I restarted my therapy business after I was well enough again and became president of an American Indian Flute Festival. I'm also a jingle dancer (healing dancer) and took first place in a competition at a powwow couple of years ago. I performed again for crowds. I come from the Lakota nation.
Since then, I have stepped down as president, so I could focus on my thriving business. Please mind you, every day is still a struggle, but I am so much better! Here is my latest, finished necklace. All of my work is made with authentic materials and any custom pieces are made after requested. This necklace sold in an hour.
Thank you for all your support!
