One of the finest examples of learning and “working” on your craft is exemplified in this picture. The bottom piece was the first, the top piece is my latest. The difference between the trial and error and experiential learning.

I’ve been working on a new technique for making a woven style chain. This technique is attributed to the Vikings, and produces a light and airy necklace that is at the same time bold enough to make a statement without being too heavy, both in appearance and weight of the piece.

I really love the end result, a beautiful lacy chain that is exceptionally versatile.
