Edith Schneider Jewelry "Edith Schneider Jewelry" was founded in 2001, designing and fabricating one-of-a-kind jewelry.

In 2017 the store&studio concept changed in order to emphasize the increasing demand in teaching at various art schools and colleges. Edith Schneider founded her company "Edith Schneider Jewelry" in 2001. Designing and fabricating one-of-a-kind jewelry and selling her work at numerous art shows (wholesale and retail) throughout the US and Europe changed when she opened a store&studio at the Allied

Arts Guild in Menlo Park, CA that was named "Edith Schneider Jewelry & Accessories". There she was selling her own jewelry and accessories from 40+ artist In 2009 she added her own clothing line, an asymmetric, unique, contemporary style, simple and minimalistic. Life changed and Edith Schneider moved to Carmel-by-the-Sea in 2012, renaming her store&studio to "blue lemon :: art to wear", that she opened at the Carmel Plaza on Ocean Avenue in downtown Carmel. At the same time Edith started teaching more and more jewelry classes in the Bay Area and at her studio&store in Carmel. Every time I leave Munich it is tough. It is tough to leave my family, my friends, it is tough to leave all those hugs & kisses, all those tears. About a month ago I bought Jonas. I mean I bought a Vespa scooter from a guy named Jonas, so that’s why the Vespa is called Jonas now. I love German food! The smell of a bakery, fresh baked bread and pretzels (which we call Brezn) or the smokey smell of a butcher store, I just think of heaven! Sweets, that are not too sweet, pickles that are not too sour, beer that is strong and flavorful; why is it not possible in the US to grow, cook, bake and brew like in Germany?...

Kusadasi was a blast! In many ways!!! Four big cruise ships ported here, being re-routed from Israel and Egypt, and/or being scheduled to port on the “bird island” = Kusadasi. It is beautiful here, rich in culture, lot of money floating around from millions of tourist and Turkish locals who own vacations homes along the coast. Our tour is only half a day long, so we’d better hurry: two major tourists attractions are on the program....
