I’ve been saving these tins for something lovely and when I smelled our peonies this season, I decide what to fill them with… fresh, organic peony, rose petal and sweet orange sugar scrub 🍊 ♥️

Peony and rose extracts are botanical powerhouses. Peony brightens, calms, and combats aging via antioxidants like paeoniflorin. Rose petals soothe irritation, deliver antibacterial benefits, and hydrate the skin barrier.

Sweet orange essential oil promotes a clearer, brighter, and more youthful complexion. It has natural antibacterial and antioxidant properties that help combat breakouts, fade dark spots, and protect against premature aging:) (plus it smells delightful and just perfect for summer!)

Made with sugar, fresh dried peony and rose petals (both organic), organic jojoba oil and sweet orange essential oil! Jojoba oil is so good for your skin- it closely mimics the skin's natural sebum and absorbs quickly to provide deep hydration, soothe inflammation, regulate oil production, and deliver protective antioxidants - all without clogging your pores (fyi -palm oil is an inferior oil that clogs your pores..I also value rainforests!! That’s why you’ll never see it in any of my products🌎♥️)

Just use the little wooden spoons to scoop out enough to exfoliate your hands, feet, elbows, etc. being cautious to avoid any water from entering the tin- (water will make the scrub spoil)

Beaujolais - a lovely red wine from France that is light and slightly fruity- it’s perfect for the summer months so I decided to make a new soap with it!!

Wine soap is rich in antioxidants, boosts collagen production, fights premature aging and helps brighten dull skin😊

Made with all natural ingredients:
Home rendered tallow, EVOO, organic raw coconut oil, loads of Beaujolais wine 🍷, distilled H2O, lye, & madder root powder scented with the fresh aroma of sweet orange, juniper berry and litsea cubeba essential oils (which is a lovely Asian evergreen producing a rich lemony aroma)

It’s pretty bouigie 😉

Our boys and other young adults from local churches have started this nonprofit Christian magazine. It’s really wonderful… their second edition is coming out soon… they feature beautiful and powerful art, poetry and submissions from local pastors and fellow Christians. We are going to be on the news! Chelsea Green Barrett Summer Barker Camp Frederick Garden Parks
we did a little interview with WKBN this morning at Parks Garden Center to cover the yin yoga sound bath event benefiting Camp Frederick’s Grief camp for kids♥️
The event filled up quickly but we are taking names for a waiting list… hopefully we can continue to host super neat community events in the future
(a small yellow cross appeared on the ground when we were deciding where to set up… we had been standing there/near the area for a while and it was not there…🕊️ small signs of God are everywhere- and sometimes they just smack you right in the face😉)

Well, it’s Easter so I made a new goat milk soap…I had some friends send me pics of a similar soap, so I made some… 🕊️🌊
I only use natural colorants so this is shaded with swirls of varying degrees of alkanet root and indigo powder… hoping it will set up and when cut look like a turbulent ocean
Evoo, home-rendered tallow, organic raw mango butter, castor oil, distilled water, goat milk and lye with a lovely trinity of essential oils- lavender, cedarwood and eucalyptus… can’t wait to cut it tomorrow! Let me know if you have any name ideas- so far I’ve only come up with “Heaven Scent”🥰

Well, I finally got better labels for my lip balm:)
I made a large batch for a bridal shower but I have a few left over with my new label if anyone would like one- all natural cardboard tube with recycled paper labels 🌱 my original blend: organic beeswax, organic raw cocoa and Shea butters, organic chamomile infused EVOO, & raw organic coconut oil with the EO’s of chamomile and lavender ♥️ $5 (plus tax) each
When these 5 are done- I probably won’t make more until closer to my open house (fyi)

Ingredients:
Baking soda
Pink Himalayan sea salt (ground and coarse)
Organic raw coconut oil
Citric acid
Organic gluten free ground oats
Organic lavender petals
Rose kaolin clay
Geranium, lavender, chamomile and rose essential oils and a little bit of alcohol free witch hazel
