Scrolling thru my phone and found these photos of a Goth Theme Wedding Bouquet and Pocket Boutonniere I made earlier this year.

I was so excited for this challenge. She loves all things skulls and I was asked to incorporate some burgundy. The rest was left up to me. I designed these faux florals into a hand tied bouquet that could easily set down in a vase to become an arrangement for their Goth Themed home.

Once completed, it was boxed and shipped to Florida.

In all honesty, I was proud of it… but she wasn’t. She thought it looked like Halloween Decorations. She ended up ordering an all white rose bouquet for her special day from a local florist. Oh well… we can’t win them all…

Morning delivery for a family dear to our hearts. These florals were done in honor of a Loving Husband, Dad and Pops… and I want to add Friend.

It’s always more than just a floral arrangement on a casket to us… but that is all most people see.

We start with conversations with the family about what casket was chosen, what clothing will be seen (and even sometimes we are asked our opinion of different options) and if there are any special request, such as favorite flower or color combinations.

As with a lot of my designs, the family gave me the opportunity to choose the florals and greenery and I gave my suggestions on what I thought would match the casket and clothing choices.

Shades of blues, cream, butterscotch, rust, burgundy and browns made this late summer/fall floral a stand out. A mix of fresh florals and a few silk florals made a wonderful mix of blooms and textures for this time of the year.

As always, we appreciate the trust given to us when honoring your loved ones.

Extended family purchased a coordinating standing spray that was placed at the head of the casket.
