Friday secret from the bench: before a ring is a ring, it is wax.

Every custom piece we build starts as a design, whether that is a hand sketch or a CAD file, and becomes a model next: carved by hand or 3D printed, depending on the piece. Either way, it gets trimmed, cleaned and checked by hand before it ever goes anywhere near molten gold. That hand-finishing step never changes, no matter which tools got the design there.

"I've been coming to Burbank Jewelry Outlet for several years, and every experience has been outstanding. Whether I'm browsing or making a significant purchase, everyone has always been friendly, welcoming, patient, and never pushy.

I've purchased a few pieces of jewelry here over the years, and I'm currently looking at upgrading my wife's wedding ring. I've met with the owner, Zaven, several times throughout the process, and he has been incredibly knowledgeable and generous with his time. He never rushed me and took the time to explain every detail so I could make an informed decision.

Solid 14K gold, heated until it's liquid, poured by hand into a casting mold. It's the very first step in a process that hasn't really changed since we opened our doors in 1978, done by the same family, on the same bench, every time a piece is made.

This is the part customers almost never see: the moment before polishing, setting, and finishing turn a pour of gold into something you'd wear.
