Yesterday was my mom’s birthday🥳and the first thing I got to make in our new were these pair of fine silver earrings💖🥰💎

Love you mama, I’m so happy we got to have this time together - it’s the first time we have been able to celebrate your birthday in-person in a decade or so, and this was long overdue❤️

Today we wrapped up our pop-up takeover with casting, fabricating, and more ring making!!😍
The past four days has been fantastic working with such a variety of people looking for a place to experience the joy of making jewelry with YOUR own hands🤲🔥

Never knew I had a and found these gems:

to the disgruntled ART215 student:
glad you never became a jeweler💁🏻

to the DES118 student:
I never taught that class and appreciate the love🙏🏻

It pleases me everyday to not bow to the every whim of these un-professionals,
these student-customers,
infants whining at discord🤦🏻💁🏻👾

If I had a dime for how many times I was told as a professor,
“it’s your job to please your client”
I’d have at least 72 cents,
…cause somewhere along the line a few pennies would have been skimmed off the top,
but that’s just big business…

I would like to share my anonymous student reviews publicly sometime, and engage in a space where academics can speak openly about the hurdles of promotion/tenure,
all fostered in a non-judgmental space where we can leave our egos at the door🤘🏻🌟🔥
