This is Jason Spurgeon. I am one of Jerry Kennedy's good friends. I am sorry to have to tell everyone that Jerry lost his battle with cancer today! I look at Jerry not only as a great friend but as a legend when it comes to forging Damascus knives. I will miss watching him make knives & seeing all the beautiful knives that he has made. Please share your memories of Jerry Kennedy & please share some pics of your Kennedy knives! This one is mine. It has a spiderweb pattern on the spine & firecracker pattern towards the edge. The handle is Mammoth Tooth & fossilized Walrus Ivory. He also did a beautiful job on the sheath! I will always cherish this knife & remember the friendship I had with Jerry!
