Some memories are too precious to leave behind. 🤍

When we lose someone we love, we look for little pieces of them to hold onto — something tangible that makes them feel just a little closer.

For this custom memorial piece, I was entrusted with something incredibly meaningful: her beloved friend’s favorite whiskey.

The whiskey was carefully preserved and transformed into these beautiful stones, then I added a touch of gold glitter for a little extra shimmer. The result is the most gorgeous golden-amber color — warm, luminous, and completely unique. ✨

But to me, the beauty of this piece isn’t really in the color or the sparkle.

It’s in what it represents.

A favorite drink. A beloved friend. A lifetime of memories. A person who mattered deeply and whose absence is felt every day.

Grief can be incredibly hard to navigate. There are days when memories bring comfort and days when they bring tears. And sometimes, having something you can actually hold in your hands — something that carries a tiny piece of someone you’ve lost — can mean more than words ever could.

I feel incredibly fortunate that I get to create memorial pieces like this. Every piece is completely unique and customizable, just like the person being remembered. I get to take something meaningful and transform it into something that can be worn close to the heart, carried through life, and treasured for years to come.

Maybe that’s what makes these pieces so special.

They don’t replace the person. They don’t erase the loss.

They simply give love and memories a place to live.

This stunning custom set was handcrafted in sterling silver with yellow gold plating, creating meaningful keepsakes that beautifully honor a mother's breastfeeding journey.

The necklace and matching earrings feature custom breastmilk stones created using a molding process, allowing the preserved breastmilk to be carefully shaped and set into each design. A touch of pearl powder was incorporated into the breastmilk, adding a soft, elegant shimmer that enhances the natural beauty of each piece.

The rings were created using a direct-pour preservation method, where the breastmilk is poured directly into the settings for a one-of-a-kind finish. The added pearl powder gives the preserved milk a delicate glow that catches the light beautifully.

The band ring is accented with multiple Aquamarine stones, representing a March birth month and adding even more personal significance to this cherished design. The combination of shimmering breastmilk preservation and sparkling aquamarines creates a truly unique heirloom piece.

Every so often, I hear that my prices are "too high," so I wanted to share a little perspective.
This sterling silver band ring with a birthstone option is priced at $125 + tax through my business. Recently, I found a very similar ring from a large online retailer priced at $440 + tax and shipping. And yes that’s the price the online retailer charges for similar style made out sterling silver.

This post isn't about bashing another business—that's why I've blocked out their name. Every company has different pricing structures, and that's okay. I simply want to highlight that affordable pricing and quality craftsmanship can absolutely go hand in hand.

When you purchase from me, you're getting a quality keepsake piece made with care, at a fraction of the cost of some larger retailers. You're also supporting a local small business, which means so much to me and to our community.
