Mitch has been in this industry for 37 years (1985) and I started working at Ned Cash Jewelers 24 years ago (1998). A bittersweet change, Ned Cash Jewelers and Ned Cash have been icons in Downtown Brunswick for a long time, but we are looking forward to making some changes in our lives. Comedian Bill Engvall jokes about “here’s your sign”; changes in our industry, hurricanes (albeit part of living
in Southeast Georgia), covid, health challenges, our most recent goldsmith dying in 2022, our watchmaker retiring, are just a few of our “signs”, it’s been kind of crazy. We are having a Store Closing sale beginning Friday, November 11, 2022, through the end of the year, everything must go! We are closing the retail store, but some services will remain. For example, Mitch’s favorite thing to do is work on clocks, he will continue to do this, housecalls and all! At the end of the year Mitch and I will regroup and have a clearer picture as to the direction the business will go in. We want to thank all the customers, merchants, and friends that we consider part of our Ned Cash Jewelers “family” for enriching our lives thus far. Hopefully there is a little part in each of you that can put aside any sadness and be happy for us as we pursue the next chapter in our lives. We are very excited; the future is exciting!
