First close up of many of an order I put together. I love a pave setting and obviously it had to be a green stone. So I went with a yellow gold pave disc with pine green diamonds. Both second lobes done by me. My newest gemstone obsession outside of Jade. Pine green diamonds and yellow gold! This stone has such an amazing color to it. Pine green diamonds can be either natural or artificially irradiated. In nature, diamonds get their green hue through exposure to ionizing radiation deep within the earth. However, most green diamonds on the market today are natural stones that have been artificially irradiated in a lab to enhance their color.

Paired with the pine green on the other side is this classic green and yellow look of chrysoprase and yellow gold. If you like the look of yellow gold and green keep an eye out for a new collection that we will have coming in soon that I hand picked with both of these stones as well as some jade and smoky quartz!

We got a fresh re-up on lots of chrysoprase designs in the studio and I snapped a few photos yesterday. These pieces are going quick and I’m stoked that people are vibing with the greens!

Chrysoprase is a rare, highly valued, and bright apple-green variety of chalcedony quartz that owes its distinct color to nickel impurities. Prized since antiquity, it was famously favored by Alexander the Great and Frederick the Great. Used by Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians for seals, signet rings, and jewelry. Popularized in Prussia by Frederick II, who used it to adorn the Sanssouci Palace.

I am always honored when people who are within this craft choose me of all people to facilitate any addition to their set up. Chris had me add these two upper helix piercings to make it a group of three. We went with the textured disk and a pear labradorite. Thanks so much for the trust and always good to see you dude.
