It’s been a while, I know. I’m still here, making jewelry, but a little over a year ago I hit a creative block and just got an itch to try something new. I decided to take a ceramics class, and gave myself permission to throw some really awful pots and mugs. 😊 I spent a good 6-8 months doing that before allowing myself to move towards thinking about how to make ceramic jewelry. One of the things I learned during that time was how much I enjoy the glazing process. There is an element of surprise to it that I really embrace - you might start with an idea, but you never quite know what you are going to end up with. I have really enjoyed testing out how glazes layer together to create new colors and textures, and after lots (and lots and lots) of tinkering, I have decided that it is time to launch these into the world! I hope that you enjoy them! I think of them as mini ceramic paintings.
Each ceramic pendant is shaped by hand and finished with layered, painterly glazes that create soft gradients, unexpected color blends, and unique textures formed in the kiln. No two pieces are ever the same. Crafted slowly and with intention, each pendant emerges from the kiln as a one-of-a-kind mini artwork. I hope that you find one that you love! Link to the new collection is in my bio! Oh, and please enjoy a 20% discount on orders over $150, good through Cyber Monday with the code BFCM2025.
