In the 19th century, before deposits were found in Brazil, Amethyst was as expensive as rubies, sapphires or emeralds. It was the color of royalty. It was associated with wine, and was believed that amethyst could cure intoxication by drinking out of amethyst cups. Amethyst is the birthstone for Feburary. Amethyst is made into beads, points, spheres, pendants, tumbled stones and many other items.

Cute as heck, petrified wood products in many styles, in shape of mushrooms, spheres, and slices with the bark still on most of them. These come from Madagascar where they polish up all these wonderful shapes. And the colors that the wood come in are amazing! The mushrooms and spheres are limited.

New items just arrived! Clear crystal balls, range between $20-25. Natural Brazilian Agate hearts in black and white, so handsome. The Lapis Lazuli points and spheres, will shine up under a ultraviolet light. The gray bands in the stones will throw out the most amazing color! The green jade pocket stones are super pretty and very soft to hold. The large sphere is from Mexico and normally will show a lot of green colors in them, but this one is mostly brown, and is very unique. I suspect it won't be here very long!
