Handmade Crafts I have a true love for crafting and the arts. I am currently a Stay at Home Mom of two adorable, independent little boys.

My full time job being a SAHM doesn't give me much time to do all the things I've been dreaming of... but it does allow me enough time to do what I can making my own schedule. I have been crafting my whole life, from scarecrows made of toilet paper rolls at my childhood birthday parties to key chains made at day camp. I have come to love the many opportunities the imagination has to offer with the

Sooo much to do to prepare for the Spring Cardmaking Social in TWO weeks!
But what did I do today?....
Raked up rocks, painted wood, and spread sand... we had to take advantage of the beautiful weather! now I need to sleep 😅 our baby chicks need a place to live, can't stay in the garage forever 😵‍💫

I am so excited to offer another Cardmaking Social at the end of April! 🤗
I am meeting up with some fellow stampers this weekend and we are going to do a card swap, so I decided to make up a bunch of this card from the upcoming Social event. Ahhh it is just soo pretty!! 🥰 An original design that makes me proud. They aren't all perfect, but they are made by hand and from the heart ♥️

MARCH CARD WORKSHOP
🌷🌸 "Spring Ahead" 🌸🌷
I am bringing back an old spring card kit and modifying a new kit to make them into shaker cards!! The other two cards will embrace the upcoming spring season with a fun fold and two step floral stamping.
$20 with all supplies included to make Four cards

My oh My! 🤗
Today I opened up this new Product Suite collection and let the creative juices start flowing!
Ashley (The Paper Toadstool) and I will be hosting a Spring Cardmaking Social at the end of April and I will have FOUR cards to make from these products 🥰 She will have Four from another product collection.
I know April seems far away but LOTS of prep work goes into these events. We are so excited to start getting it all in motion ❤️

Oops! One of the most important concepts of cardmaking is making sure you assemble your card effectively, not to skip any steps. Some cards it is more important that others....

For example. A Shaker card... without the plastic window sheet... the items you plan to put inside the window will, well... not stay contained. Sooo in this case, I really needed to put that window sheet down BEFORE all of that foam strip 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Well, with a little extra work and careful back tracking... a beautiful card was still made 😍

I woke up feeling like crap after a night of multiple wake ups from our "good sleeper" 😫
But she was all bright eyed and bushy tailed when she woke up 🙄
So after I got the boys on the bus I grabbed a cup of tea for my sore throat and this is what I got...
After a very productive day around the house yesterday, I am looking forward to my 2 hours of craft room time today to get my class prepped for the end of the week.
I only have 3 spots left for Thursday workshop in Cicero! That is the biggest class I've had in a long time 🤗 I am ready to ROCK this week 🥰

For anyone who does not understand the photo... my husband is a curler, the image is a curling stone 😅 with a Canadian 🍁 because well... 🤣
